Polycarbonate
Exceptional impact strength with optical clarity
Polycarbonate (branded as Lexan® or Makrolon®) delivers exceptional impact strength combined with optical clarity and flame resistance. MK Industrial & Co.® supplies transparent and colored Polycarbonate sheets, rods and tubes across Bangalore and Karnataka.
About Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate combines transparent optical clarity with exceptional impact resistance, remaining tough even at low temperatures where many other transparent plastics become brittle. It's easy to fabricate, self-extinguishing, and significantly lighter than glass for equivalent impact protection. Branded versions of Polycarbonate include Lexan® and Makrolon®. Lexan® is a registered trademark of SABIC; Makrolon® is a registered trademark of Covestro.
MK Industrial & Co.® stocks Polycarbonate sheets, rods and tubes in transparent and various colors — available in standard dimensions and custom cut-to-size across Bangalore and Karnataka.
Polycarbonate is widely specified in construction (skylights, shatterproof glazing), automotive (lightweight parts, headlights, instrument panels), electronics (transparent enclosures, screens), and medical (sterile equipment, syringes, storage containers).
