Hylam
Cotton-fabric reinforced phenolic for mechanical insulation
Hylam is a cotton-fabric reinforced phenolic laminate offering good mechanical strength and electrical insulation at a lower cost than glass-based laminates. MK Industrial & Co.® supplies Hylam sheets, rods and tubes across Bangalore and Karnataka.
About Hylam
Hylam is a cotton-fabric (or paper) reinforced phenolic laminate offering good mechanical strength, moisture resistance, and electrical insulation — a cost-effective alternative to glass-based laminates where extreme dielectric performance isn't required.
MK Industrial & Co.® stocks Hylam, Electrical Grade Hylam, Paper Base Hylam, and Fabric Base Hylam in sheets, rods and tubes — available in standard dimensions and custom cut-to-size across Bangalore and Karnataka.
Hylam is commonly used in gears, bearings, musical instruments, washers, spacers, and general mechanical insulation parts.
