PVDF (Kynar®)
Fluoropolymer chemical resistance with high mechanical strength
PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride, branded as Kynar®) combines chemical inertness to acids and halogens with high mechanical strength and continuous service to 150°C. MK Industrial & Co.® supplies PVDF sheets and rods across Bangalore and Karnataka.
About PVDF (Kynar®)
PVDF (branded as Kynar®) is a fluoropolymer offering strong resistance to acids, halogens and most organic solvents, combined with mechanical strength well above other fluoropolymers like PTFE. It also exhibits piezoelectric properties, allowing it to convert mechanical stress into electrical signals and vice versa. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Arkema.
MK Industrial & Co.® stocks PVDF sheets and rods in Natural — available in standard dimensions and custom cut-to-size across Bangalore and Karnataka.
PVDF is specified across chemical processing pipes, valves and pumps; electronics (leveraging its piezoelectric properties in sensors and actuators); aerospace lightweight, heat-resistant components; and building/construction pipes, cladding and roofing membranes. For medical applications, please confirm the specific grade's certification and request the relevant data sheet before ordering.
